On September 29, 2004 Dolly Nampijinpa Daniels, a close friend and mentor, passed away at Yuendumu, Australia. Dolly always showed a keen interest in promoting Warlpiri culture beyond the confines of the settlement to other Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal groups. She wanted others to understand why kin relations, land, and the Dreaming are important to Aboriginal people. This issue is dedicated to her and her unfailing desires to teach and to learn
