Maitreya* Enrique Verástegui I'm sitting here waiting for old age.I'm not thinking or doing anythinguntil another generation comesto blow the dust from what shines, the gilded books,mathematics,body, soul, universe,all this knowledge buried by anger,the gnosis that shows how the infinitecan be found in the finite,where the universe, truly, exists. I flowered more than anyone,but treachery befell me,leaving me bent like a flower,rusted and without a voice.Maitreya passed without a sound like a shadow through life.Doesn't it make you want to cry?
