This paper tries to reconstruct the paradigm of "cognitive prometheism" understood as a philosophical anthropology considering humankind as an "ontic exception". Founding itself on the idea that "reason " is the faculty of self construction of Humanity, "cognitive prometheism " argues that humans belongs to a realm of being which differs radically from that of other living beings
