EN] This paper considers a number of contrast between Palaeolithic art and Levantine postglacial art and suggests that these are the expression of different conceptions of time and space. They can be related to the socio-economic context in which the art was created. Each style of painting embodies a distinctive approach to time, the natural world and the exploitation of the landscape
