This paper reports the results achieved by a research on the development of aesthetic thought in children. The\nresearch sought to answer the following questions: What do Pedagogy students and primary education teachers\nknow about Art History? How Art History could be presented to nursery and primary education students? The starting\npoint for answering these questions was to identify the symbolic, cultural and artistic knowledge that is part of the\nstudents daily life. After that, Art History could be taught in correlation to that knowledge, so its learning became\nmeaningful to all the participants of the research, i.e., Pedagogy students, primary education teachers and especially\nnursery and primary education students
