Abstract The interpellation of individuals as subjects is, according to Louis Althusser, the proper mechanism of ideology. The legal subject, target of Evgeni Pashukanis’ criticism, is constitutive, in bourgeois society, of the subjectivity engendered by the interpellation. Thus, the rapprochement between Pashukanis and Althusser would make possible to understand a little further about legal ideology. Keywords: Legal ideology. Interpellation. Legal subject
