La présence juive dans le XIXe arrondissement parisien, si elle est très visible, n'a d'unité qu'en apparence. Il n'existe pas, entre les différents groupes qui la composent, d'ensemble cohérent, structuré et interconnecté. Pour autant, la proximité des différents lieux de culte, ainsi que celle des habitats et commerces, génère une reconnaissance mutuelle entre ces réseaux, qu'ils se soient regroupés du fait de liens familiaux ou par affinités
