L'article examine la politique de compromis qui a fait suite au conflit linguistique en Belgique en 1930. La decision d'un unilinguisme regional dans les deux lois de 1932 (une loi sur la langue de l'administration, une loi sur la langue de l'education primaire et secondaire) represente une victoire pour les Flamands et une defaite pour les francophones
