The epigraphic work undertaken in the tomb of Henenu (TT313) during the fourth campaign of the Middle Kingdom Theban Project in April 2018 at Deir El Bahari (Luxor, Egypt) by the Universidad de Alcalá (Madrid) is presented. Henenu served as royal steward to the Eleventh Dynasty king Mentuhotep II. The project had three major tasks: to create a database for the epigraphic finds; to prepare a paleographic list of hieroglyphs to narrow down epigraphic areas, hands, and layouts; and to initiate a philological and historical study of the excavation, archives, and museum materials. The epigraphic research focused not only on the new finds uncovered in the Middle Kingdom Theban Project’s third and fourth seasons, but also on the archival, museum, and photographic material from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, to reconstruct the textual and decorative program in the tomb
