Based on Pascale Garnier's studies, this work investigated how the relationships between material culture and bodily practices are related to age and gender identities. The aim was to examine gender perspectives concerning bodily practices, using a card game designed to understand how 11-year-old boys and girls construct and reproduce gender differences in a school in Paysandú, Uruguay. The results shed light on how this material culture provides symbolic resources for children's relationships and represents the influence of gender norms, impacting children's preferences and choices about play and objects of material culture. 2.15.0.0 2.15.0.0 2.15.0.0
