This article describes the idea of the burst institution of the École Expérimentale de Bonneuil- sur-Marne. This idea could become the École s main characteristic only because the experimental practice of this institution (which receives children and juveniles in difficulties) is joined with psychoanalytical, (post- )structuralistic and antipsychiatrical theories. In Bonneuil , psychoanalytical theories are not only applied to the analysis of interpersonal relations, but also help understanding institutional structures. In this way, the burst institution opens the opportunity to go a stretch on the road of wish for the children and juveniles as well as for the adults who work there. Finally, I show how this institution has - throughout and despite of its 30 years of existence as burst institution - managed to resist institutional sclerosis
