Les japonais utilisent souvent des expressions interrogatives sans attendre de reponses. A travers l'analyse de ces expressions (appele interrogative rhetorique), l'A. montre qu'elles expriment en fait differents types d'emotion et d'attitude du locuteur. Base sur des donnees du japonais ecrit et parle il etudie les effets de ces interrogatives rhetoriques dans le discours
