This paper aims to discuss the research experiences developed by two groups dedicated to Oral History in Fortaleza. These groups belong to the Federal University of Cear and to the State University of Cear. Beyond presenting the researches' history, we intend to highlight the revolutionary methodological approach of transdisciplinarity and also the obstacles the most experienced groups have to deal with in order to reach their goals
