The text addresses the interaction between technological development, economy, and socio-political interests within the context of the current surveillance capitalism model. It proposes a critical reflection on the dynamics resulting from the actions of major technology companies, considering the global impact of innovations originating in Silicon Valley. The pursuit of digital sovereignty becomes crucial in the face of the increasing dependence on technologies controlled by large globalized companies. In this scenario, alternative proposals emerge, such as 'Platform Cooperativism,' aiming to mitigate the power of Big Techs and promote an inclusive economy. The 'Hire Those Who Fight' project from the Homeless Workers' Movement (MTST) is presented as a proposal seeking to automate everyday demands and empower workers through the development and use of technological tools. This work adopts the monographic procedure, based on the case study of the 'Hire Those Who Fight' project from the Technology Hub of the Homeless Workers' Movement, to investigate whether such an initiative represents an effective form of digital sovereignty for the organized working class. The applied approach is deductive, starting from the general analysis of digital sovereignty concepts to the specific observation of the 'Hire Those Who Fight' project. It was concluded that the project represents a form of digital sovereignty by promoting autonomy over data, creating alternatives to the Big Techs' model, and enabling active participation in the construction of a democratic and common-good-oriented technological path
