The Bahian singer and composer Luedji Luna released her first album in 2017, and since then, she has stood out in the universe of Brazilian music.Assuming that the artistic manifestation, also as its condition as a commodity, reveals the values of society in which it was produced, this research sought to recognize the black people diaspora identity traces in the musical work by the Bahian composer Luedji Luna.Throughout the recognizable themes and dialogues in her songs, as well as in the typical aspects of the phonographic industry from the second decade of the 21st century which involve production and circulation of her albums, it is possible to envision the identity place which is occupied and sought after by the negro as the product of the African diaspora in a Brazil that is marked as post-Iluminist and modern, yet with strong traces of slave-base.For this end, in aesthetic terms, the artist's seven songs have been analyzed based on the Bakhtinian concept of double-voiced, shedding light to the multiplicity of voices and the intense dialogism in her songs. In sociotechnical terms, the steps linked to the phonographic market were describedfunding, production, distribution and diffusionin order to recognize the interventions arising from a merchandise condition in a neoliberal capitalist context, as well as the shifts made by the artist in this setting.Lastly, in macrostructural terms, it was created a panorama of the identity construction of diasporic black people in Brazil, from the inherent deletions to the modern concept of nation and nationality, emphasizing on how globalization promoted, as a side effect of deterritorialization, the strengthening of the identity speeches such as those of the artist
