This work describes the relations and situations experienced by patients with dyslipidemia of Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), evidencing the importance of play to care for nutritional status, in a manner consistent with the expectations and needs of each individual. Within this perspective, there was a nutritional monitoring of patients who participated in the Center for Interdisciplinary Research and Assistance to Dyslipidemia of University Hospital (NIPEAD-HU-UFSC), interfering in a positive way of life to them, reinforcing the importance of nutritional counseling as measure of prevention of cardiovascular diseases
