This article highlights some extension actions promoted by the University Theater of the Federal University of Minas Gerais (TU/UFMG), focusing on the Black Theater Festival (FETNE) and its contribution to the student training process by presenting works with black and afro-referenced themes. In this perspective, it is understood that extension activities can help the diversification of pedagogical assumptions and the elaboration of a cultural policy for the university that values our Afro-Brazilian heritages, systematically erased by the colonization process. Furthermore, we seek to highlight how the context of elaboration of the extension program TU-70 years: for an anti-racist school favored the creation of possibilities for curricularization of extension actions proposed in the two editions of FETNE
