This research was to primary objective characterize the big anthropomorphic figures of the Agreste Tradition in Pernambuco.These graphics are considered emblematic of Agreste Tradition, the main class of rock art found in Pernambuco.In the search for a graphical recurrence in the representation of the rock drawings in question, methodological procedures of operational and analytical order were applied.The application of these methodological procedures culminated in the identification of four graphic types, allowing to be highlighted as representatives of the essential characterizers of the Agreste Tradition the type 2 graphic profile, composed of anthropomorphs with non-symmetrical and thick features, with limbs in forced and disproportionate postures
