There is, in France, a strong social debate on the teaching about religions at school since now twenty years. In this presentation, we are going to discuss the major stages of reflection on this issue with its different actors, and to analyze the expression «religious fact » which is more and more used. We examine also arguments supporting that teaching. We wonder if it is a fake debate, a bad answer to good questions or a french resistance to study serenely religions at school
