This article aims at helping readers reflect on possible strategies for introducing ICT in foreign language teaching to young learners. The adopted point of view investigates the process of writing as part of a project work and considers how and why such an activity may represent a means of boosting the learners’motivation and of increasing their «desire for learning » . This very process could considerably contribute to overcome a purely instrumental vision of foreign language usage. Such contribution is based on the author’s experience as teachers’developer. She introduced the described approach in pre-and in-service training courses as well as supervising its implementation in foreign language classes
