The themes of valuation and orientation have caused a lot of questions in the field of Science of Education and particularly in the sphere of orientation in the secondary schools in France. Through this article, it is a question of knowing essentially the criteria which preside over the decision-making of orientation of the pupils. Our work wonders mainly about the notation as the main criterion of valuation of the class-room
