This article examines the caregiving tasks performed by children who live in military caregiving families and how these may impact their well-being. A cross-sectional survey of youth (aged nine to 17 years) and their parents (N = 202) was conducted to assess caregiving tasks and symptoms of anxiety/depression, antisocial behaviors, school outcomes, and perceived support. Children demonstrated some resiliency in their psychological and behavioral health; however, over half struggled with school problems. Effective strategies to support the academic success of children in military caregiving families are needed
