Fonr geographers,* oJ different vietlvpoints and initerests btut all concerned wvith the Soviet Union, are sitting in the tuniiversity office of Professor Lernier, looking over recent wvorks on the geography of that country. Professor Lerner (L) is interested in economic geography. Professor Broadbent (B) is from a near-by college, tvhere among other regionial courses he has taught one on the Soviet Union for several years. Mr. Redway (R) has recenitly visited the U.S.S.R. and is enthuisiastic about the planniing he saw there. Dr. Sharp (S) is engaged in fill-time research on the Soviet Unioni. He is scholarly, critical, anid a bit imnpatient. His special field is physical geography
