The creation of an all university channel for primary school teacher training within the departments of psychology and sciences of education which has been considered by the Genevan authorities constitutes a strong hypothesis from the viewpoint of the challenge to education raised by our European societies. Indeed the involvement of the university in teaching is a global movement in which the professionalization of teaching is at stake. This professionalization is most likely to be achieved if this university training combines a top-level theoretical training with a clinical process joining theory and practice
