L'A. propose une lecture du «Sophiste» de Platon qui permet de resoudre la relation problematique qu'entretient Levinas avec ce texte : bien plus qu'un emprunt a la critique platonicienne de Parmenide, le projet de Levinas consiste en une critique de Platon. Examinant les notions d'etre, le meme et l'autre presentes dans le «Parmenide» de Platon, l'A. montre que l'inspiration d'une pensee platonicienne de la transcendance chez Levinas provient d'une certaine comprehension ontologique de l'Un chez Parmenide synonyme du Bien et de Dieu chez Platon
