A case of unilateral idiopathic congenital clubfoot in an adult American Indian skeleton from the Cabin Burial site is described. A knife found with the burial dates the individual to the Antelope Creek Complex or Wolf Creek Complex (A.D. 1000-1500). The severity of the foot deformity, atrophy and bowing of the corresponding tibia and fibula, and development of the right forearm and clavicle indicate that the individual used a crutch or a cane for walking. The rarity of this traitin archaeological specimens and the sociocultural implications of congenital clubfoot are discussed
