Hasholt, Bent: Mapping of the Mitdluagkat Glacier and some hydro-glaciological observations. Geografisk Tidsskrift 86: 9–16. Copenhagen, June 1986. The Mitdluagkat Glacier was photographed in 1933 by K. Milthers. During the IGY-programme 1956–58 it was surveyed by B. Fristrup. In 1970, a field station belonging to the Institute of Geography, University of Copenhagen, was erected near the glacier, which has since then been visited every year, and the retreat of its terminus followed. In 1972, the glacier was photographed from the air and, based on these photos, two maps in scale 1:5000 with an equidistance of 5 m were drawn in 1976. In 1985, part of the triangulation network was resurveyed, so that the 1972 (1976) maps could be compared with earlier maps from Geodetic Institute and with results from recent glacio-hydrological investigations in the area
