2020 yılında Mardin İli Derik Mazıdağı ve Savur İlçeleri Yüzey Araştırması Projesi kapsamında Mazıdağı İlçesi ve köylerinde tüm dönemleri kapsayan bir yüzey araştırması gerçekleştirilmiştir.
