Declining or rising risk? Trajectory-based forecasting of global disaster vulnerability and coping capacities using the world risk index
Understanding how disaster risk is evolving is critical at a time when climate change, fragile governance, and social inequality continue to shape vulnerability worldwide. This study draws on the World Risk Index dataset covering 181 countries from 2011 to 2021 and extends the analysis through forecasts up to 2030. The findings show that while exposure to natural hazards such as floods, droughts, and cyclones has remained relatively stable, vulne…
Decoding the pedestrian tourist street experience (PTSE)
This study conceptualises and empirically examines the Pedestrian Tourist Street Experience (PTSE) as a distinct form of embodied, affective, and spatial engagement. Using over 5,000 reviews from Shimla’s Mall Road and Gangtok’s M.G. Road, it employs a mixed-methods text-analytics framework integrating Structural Topic Modelling, qualitative interpretation, and benchmarked LLM-based sentiment analysis. Central to this approach is the feature engi…
Designing and analyses of mathematical models for sustainable agriculture in India
A framework for addressing water–rock interaction (WRI) for sustainable water resources development using various simulation models
Capacity‐Learning Paradox
This study examines the paradoxical relationship between policy learning and capacity: governments need certain capacities to learn effectively, yet these same capacities often emerge from previous learning experiences. Through a comparative analysis of Hong Kong and Singapore's responses to SARS and COVID‐19, we demonstrate how policy learning requires and manifests as enhanced analytical, operational, and political capacities. Our research reve…
Harvesting Insights
Standard farming procedures have been enhanced with the integration of information and communication technologies (ICTs), such as sensors and wireless sensor networks (WSNs), to improve efficiency. This study delves into the observations derived from comments made on YouTube channels pertaining to the topic of smart farming. We further investigate the utilization of machine learning techniques to automate the analysis of comments. In addition, th…
Integration of internet of things (IoT) technology in the design model of sustainable green building spaces
Role of street-level policy entrepreneurs in sustainability transition
Recent scholarly developments emphasise integrating insights from public policy discipline within the multilevel perspective (MLP) to understand sustainability transitions better. In this context, this article incorporates the concept of street-level policy entrepreneurs, specifically government-affiliated implementation agencies, within MLP to explain technology adoption and market creation when the technology is not cost-competent. The MLP fram…

Critical review on the utilization of robotic-system point-to-point-based position actuators and laser sensors with artificial intelligence mediator in an archetypal mechatronics network for medical d…
In this article, a comprehensive overview of the classic designing of mechatronics-based robotics components like sensors and effectors in a network to solve the problems related to the medical skin of the human body with the help of an Artificial Intelligence has been carried out. Area-based artificial agent is the easiest way to deal with the skin-related diseases. In this artificial agent, we are having autonomy and flexibility to work on the …
Impact of post-Covid-19 on the hospitality tourism
Within few weeks, when the first reported COVID-19 case in the city of Wuhan, China, the pandemic has spread quickly across nations and tourism has been regarded as the main case in the spread of corona virus worldwide. With no vaccine and limited medical facilities, it plunged the economy into various economic crisis. Both the purchase and production has come to an end due to factory closures; travel bans and border closures. The most severe dis…
Impact of Unsustainable Environmental Conditions Due to Vehicular Emissions on Associated Lifetime Cancer Risk in India
The Indian Western Himalayas (IWHs) are a world famous tourist spot, and every year millions of tourists visit this area in fossil fuel-driven vehicles. Emissions from these vehicles persistently deteriorate the pristine environment of the IWHs. Therefore, in the current study, efforts were made to assess the compromised environmental conditions of Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India that resulted from the inflow of tourists and the activities undert…
Anarchy Is What It Is Made Up Of
In this article, I attempt to critically assess Kenneth Waltz’s deployment of the idea of anarchy to erect a ‘scientific theory of international politics’. First, I argue that the formation of a concept requires comprehension of the object from the standpoint of historical development, not a narrow reading of it. Second, I subject the thinner abstractions of self-help, balance of power and bandwagoning to the test of history. Third, I argue about…
Comparative Study of Stress among Students of differ-ent Streams Science and Arts
Effect of restricted emissions during Covid-19 on air quality in India
Impact of Depression on Emotional Intelligence among Indians in Late Adolescence
In today's ever-changing world, there is a magnanimous shift in our philosophies, cognition and our social structure. With acculturation making a strong impact on Indian society, the current Indian society is a metamorphosed version of amalgamation of its authentic attributes and its Western counterparts' attributes. The shift in societal structure along with advancement in technology has a great influence on our life, our holistic well-being and…
Comparative Study of working Memory of Visually Impaired Students and Sighted Students
Memory refers to the system that are assumed to be necessary in order to keep things in mind while performing complex task such as reasoning, comprehension and learning. "We use our eyes to see but it's the brain that translates the information to make an image." When we discussed about visually impaired student there is evidence that they may strengthen their memory skills to compensate for absence of vision. Blind people must rely more than sig…
