  • Exploring the therapeutic potential of Xiangsha Liujunzi Wan in Crohn's disease

Open Access•Linlin Zheng, Ziyun Wei et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

LJZW has the characteristics of multi-component, multi-target, and multi-pathway treatment, which helps to improve the treatment of CD, protect the intestinal barrier, and exert the effect of anti-inflammatory therapy by inhibiting PI3K-AKT and MAPK signaling pathways

  • Engeletin attenuates the inflammatory response via inhibiting TLR4-NFκB signaling pathway in Crohn's disease-like colitis

Open Access•Ziyun Wei, Xiao Ni et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2025

ENG has been proven to alleviate inflammation and ameliorate the damage of epithelial barrier in CD-like colitis. ENG also suppressed the M1 macrophages polarization and the inhibited inflammatory cytokines. TLR4-NFκB signaling pathway, especially TLR4, may be the target of ENG. These data offer a new insight into the therapeutic mechanisms of ENG

  • Spectrum-effect relationship study to reveal the pharmacodynamic substances in Flos Puerariae-Semen Hoveniae medicine pair for the treatment of alcohol-induced liver damage

Open Access•Haotian Zhang, Ziyun Wei et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Ethnopharmacology•2023
