    To the Editor: Women in Medicine month came this past September 2020 in a fanfare of tweets and hashtags. We were once again called to examine the data showing the inequality of women in academic medicine. The year 2017 marked when female medical students first outnumbered males at 50.7%, 1 and yet the pipeline into academic medicine faculty is not keeping up.
