  • Algunas objetivaciones sobre el lenguaje en la filosofía de Theodor W. Adorno

    Open Access•Vanessa Vidal•ARTICLE•2026

The text examines the issue of language in Theodor W. Adorno’s philosophy, taking as its starting point the absence of language in Hegelian dialectics and offering a critique of the predominance of the concept within it, drawing on Marx’s thesis on the fetishism of commodities and certain observations regarding Freud’s concept of the language of the unconscious.

  • Objeto o sujeto?

    Open Access•Fernando Soler•ARTICLE•2026

My contribution is set within the “crisis of history” at the end of the twentieth century. It draws on Sergio Sevilla’s ideas about a crisis affecting both historical practice and the philosophy of history, understood as part of a deeper challenge to the emancipatory project of modernity. It considers the perspectives of Isaiah Berlin and Hans-Georg Gadamer, as well as a critical reading of Hayden White’s Metahistory , in contrast with Lawrence S…

  • La noción «tipo de vida» como motivo vital y científico en García Bacca

    Open Access•Alberto Ferrer García•ARTICLE•2026

This article examines the notion of “type of life” in the work of Juan David García Bacca, proposing it as a key organizing principle of his thought. It explores how a vital structure underlies epistemological and ontological systems, linking metaphor and concept in the configuration of a pluralistic and dynamic perspective on knowledge and existence. Through a hermeneutic-historical approach, it reconstructs the relationship between life, scienc…

  • Quién es Antígona? O el afuera de lo político

    Open Access•Andrea Luquin Calvo•ARTICLE•2026

This paper explores the question “Who is Antigone?” through a dialogue between Judith Butler (Antigone’s Claim) and María Zambrano (Antigone’s Tomb). Both authors reinterpret the classical figure not as a prepolitical one—as in the Hegelian reading—but as a political figuration. Antigone’s acts and words reveal, on the one hand, the construction of vulnerable subjectivities—victims of a reason and a history that demand their sacrifice (Zambrano)—…

Drawing on Sergio Sevilla’s contributions to the study of José Gaos’s work, this article offers a brief overview of Gaos’s thought. In particular, it addresses the following aspects: 1) his early reception of phenomenology in Spain; 2) his role as Ortega’s leading disciple within the School of Madrid; 3) the development of an original philosophy that radicalises Ortega’s intuitions; 4) in line with this creative continuation, his reformulation of…

  • Del Homo Ludens a la gamificación

    Open Access•Carla Carreras Planas•ARTICLE•2017
