In August 2024, the city of Natal, in the Northeast of Brazil, hosted the 45th edition of the International Standing Conference for the History of Education (ISCHE), under the theme “(De)Coloniality and Diversity in the Histories of Education”. This dossier, published in Paedagogica Historica, is born from this context and aims to broaden the debates on the histories of education from decolonial, plural and transnational perspectives. It brings together eight articles that question Eurocentric epistemologies, exploring new ways of narrating, teaching, and researching the history of education from indigenous methodologies to queer, trans, and post-socialist approaches
