L'A. porte son attention sur l'enseignement dans le domaine de la criminologie aux Etats-Unis. Il presente une methode qui permet d'analyser des situations concretes et offre aux etudiants la possibilite d'appliquer leurs connaissances theoriques. Il signale que cette methode de simulation fait intervenir un «faux» tribunal charge de resoudre de veritables affaires criminelles. Il souligne l'interet pedagogique de ce tribunal et examine de quelle maniere il est percu par les etudiants
