Angelica Fenner is a lecturer in cultural studies and comparative literature at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis. She recently completed a dissertation on the representation of Afro-Germans in early West German cinema and has published several articles that explore the Turkish-German cultural exchange in European film productions
