About thirty years after its introduction into the academic debate, the idea of glocalization continues to be acknowledged as a source of inspiration by many scholars across disciplinary boundaries. We trace here the state of the debate and advance some proposal with specific reference to the fundamental relation between "glocalization" and "everyday life
