La creación del pomerium en Roma

Cet article analyse certains des éléments définissant le pomerium et son application dans la Rome archaïque. Le pomerium est attaché à l’idée de l’ urbs et sa création coïncide donc avec l’apparition de la ville. Cela s’est passé à Rome vers 600 avant J.-C., sous le règne de Tarquin l’Ancien. Ce roi traça le premier pomerium , qui comprenait la Rome du Septimontium et le Capitole. Servius Tullius l’agrandit, y compris les Colles , et éleva les murs de la ville, mais en excluant l’Aventin de la ligne du pomerium
