TA is a widely used yet little understood organizational tool for change. The data base for its application to organizations is almost nonexistent. Field research reported here attempts to improve employee perception of supervisory behavior through increased listening, approachability, team work, and information flow. A TA program was enacted to achieve these goals. Significant change was reported at the .004 level
