Humor, when mobilized by a blind woman in public performances, operates as a discursive practice that challenges stigma and repositions visual impairment within the domains of desire, agency, and female autonomy. This study aims to analyze how representations of visual impairment, sexuality, and humor are articulated in videos published on a public Instagram profile, as well as to examine indications of audience reception through associated comments. This is a qualitative, exploratory-descriptive study, grounded in documentary analysis with a phenomenological orientation, whose corpus consisted of three videos selected during the first half of January 2024. The findings indicate that humorous performance disrupts historically constructed myths of asexualization and infantilization attributed to people with blindness, while simultaneously revealing ambivalences in interpretation, ranging from recognition and immediate laughter to estrangement and the reactivation of stigmatizing meanings. https://doi.org/10.21723/riaee.v21i00.1944002
