Introduction: The article analyzes Postmodernity as a period of profound social, cultural, and intellectual transformation, characterized by the loss of collective reference points, the fragmentation of knowledge, and the crisis of modern grand narratives. This context generates uncertainty and particularly affects the construction of individuals' identity and life project. Methods: A theoretical and reflective analysis is developed from an interdisciplinary perspective, drawing on philosophical, sociological, and psychological contributions. The ideas of authors such as Nietzsche, Marx, and Freud are examined, along with postmodern thinkers such as Foucault, Derrida, Vattimo, Baudrillard, and Lyotard. Results: The findings show that Postmodernity is characterized by the fragmentation of knowledge, the relativization of truth, and the instrumentalization of knowledge. Identity ceases to be inherited and becomes an active process of personal construction, marked by uncertainty and the absence of shared reference points. Conclusions: It is concluded that Postmodernity compels individuals to assume responsibility for constructing their own identity and life project, posing significant educational, social, and personal challenges, especially for young people
