The rapid advancement of digital technology has transformed higher education, creating an urgent need for learning platforms that are adaptive, accessible, and aligned with modern pedagogical practices. This study presents the development and user evaluation of an Android-based e-learning system designed to improve instructional efficiency, learner engagement, and accessibility at Universitas Teknologi Akba Makassar. Using a Research and Development approach with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model, the system was iteratively designed and tested with 300 students. Functional stability and usability were verified through black-box testing, while user perceptions were measured using a validated questionnaire based on the ISO/IEC 25,010 standard. The instrument achieved strong content validity (Aiken’s V = 0.83–0.92) and high internal consistency (Cronbach’s α = 0.87). Results indicated that 41% of users were very satisfied and 59% satisfied with the system’s functionality, reliability, performance efficiency, and usability. Although satisfaction levels were high, this study did not directly assess changes in academic performance. The findings highlight the platform’s potential to support flexible and student-centered learning in higher education. Future research should incorporate pre- and post-intervention assessments, motivation and engagement metrics, and learning analytics to evaluate the system’s educational impact more comprehensively.
