In today's technological world, the impact of digital informal learning on learners’ performance is crucial. This study aimed to investigate the mediating role of academic hardiness between digital informal learning and academic performance. The sample comprised 347 students from Shiraz University who were selected using proportional random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modeling with SPSS and AMOS software. The findings indicated that digital informal learning has a positive and significant effect on academic hardiness and academic hardiness plays a positive mediating role between digital informal learning and students’ academic performance. Therefore, policymakers, planners, and educators should consider integrating digital informal learning and fostering academic hardiness in programs designed to enhance academic performance
