This article examines the racialization of space and the embodiment of race through a corporeal feminist analysis of the Minneapolis Farmers' Market. The market is conceptualized as a contact zone where the meanings and materialities of race, class, gender, and food are negotiated through embodied practice and performance. Drawing on ethnographic fieldwork, the article explores how whiteness is normalized and naturalized through embodied practices of looking, tasting, and buying. It also examines how consumers and vendors of color experience and negotiate the market space. The article argues that corporeal feminist theory provides a useful framework for understanding the complex ways in which race is produced and experienced through the body in everyday life
