In this text, we seek to explore how the fear caused by anti-gender discourse affects curricula, demanding frightened teaching subjects. The argument developed is that the anti-gender discourse acts producing fear, disallowing and disqualifying discussions of gender and sexuality, seeking to control the curricula practiced and regulate teaching conduct. However, we understand that, as it is the curricular territory of the order of the uncontrollable and the unpredictable, it is within it that ways are found to escape any attempt at framing. In this sense, we affirm that the creation of possible happens in the investigated curriculum. To this end, we mobilized an experience that took place in a Supervised Internship in History Teaching course at a federal public university registered as a narrative by students at the end of the semester. This experience helps to show articulations between the curricula practiced in basic education and in initial teacher training, as one referring to the other, imbricated in power relations, productions of meaning and training. In our analyzes, we rely on post-critical curriculum theories and, as a methodology, we activate elements of the Foucauldian framework: problematization and discourse
