This paper argues that digitalisati…

  • State of Fragility and Possibility

    Chad M Killian•ARTICLE•Journal of Physical Education…•2026

Student access to school-based physical education and physical activity opportunities has steadily declined over the past 40 years, particularly in under-resourced communities. • Beyond Wires and Lights in a Box

    Chad M Killian•ARTICLE•Journal of Physical Education…•2023

The purpose of this Viewpoint is to push readers toward seeing OLPE as an essential ally instead of an existential enemy by outlining ways OLPE addresses barriers to quality PE programming and explaining how it can be used as a catalyst for program enhancement and advocacy, so students have opportunities to experience the full potential of their PE programs

  • Flipped learning in physical education

Open Access•Ove Østerlie, Julia Sargent et al.•ARTICLE•European Physical Education Review•2023

The integration of digital technology into educational settings is expanding rapidly. One emerging didactical approach is flipped learning (FL), which leverages digital, internet-based technologies to deliver key instructions prior to classes. Chad M Killian, David N Daum et al.•ARTICLE•Journal of Physical Education…•2021

Distance learning is something many physical educators never thought they would have to do, given the practical and philosophical contradictions inherent in teaching and learning movement-based content through a computer.
